Mikaela Shiffrin was looking for a comeback in her sixth and final event at the Winter Olympics on Sunday, which was rescheduled to just hours before the closing ceremony.
In her last chance to win a medal before leaving Beijing, though, Shiffrin endured another disappointment when she and the United States team fell short of winning a medal in the mixed-gender team parallel event.
